Colourful Castlemaine Renovation

An eclectic and colourful young family required a renovation to their 3- bedroom home to accommodate the family needs of easy access to the pool, a home office, adding a WIR and ensuite for the master and a sense of privacy for the parents and their son.

The existing outdoor space was cleverly integrated into the main house and used as an extension of the Master Bedroom without demolishing the existing tiled roof.  Existing Breezeblocks were reused to create filtered light and to add to the privacy of the bedroom. Arches were introduced that gave a nod to the existing brick arches at the front facade of the house. The arched windows and doors brought Morning Light into the bedroom and north light to warm up the interior space. A colourful ensuite added a sense of playfulness that blended in with the cosy, eclectic and colourful home.
